Total Project civil cost : 32,704 crs (4 phases)
First phase of construction to start in Jan 2026 with opening in 2029
Connectivity planned by a new 6 lane airport Link Road via Chennai- Bengaluru Expressway with a semi cloverleaf interchange
New link roads planned including a new one to cargo terminal via SH 120
Chennai-Mysuru High Speed line just passes nearby & transfer metro station possible
Metro connectivity planned all the way upto the main terminal
Exclusive cargo terminal, logistics center, Flight Catering, Aviation Academy, MRO facilities planned
Diversion of existing peripheral drains & water from lakes planned including developing Nelvoy Lake
Rehabilitation & resettlement budget has been proposed for adequate compensation
